Bike Fit With PTA

Bike fitting is the process of adjusting a road/mountain bike for a cyclist to optimize their performance, comfort and efficiency. Cyclists often experience overuse injuries such as cyclist back, Anterior Knee Pain, and cyclist’s palsy. These injuries are often due to a bike that is incorrectly set up. Bike fitting aims to improve performance, comfort, and prevent further injuries for all cyclists. This service is meant for anyone who cycles and particularly is for individuals who experience injuries from overuse. Maximize your biking enjoyment, reduce overuse injuries, and call us today for a bike fit!

Who is it for?

Bike fitting is for anyone who cycles! A good bicycle fit goes a long way to help prevent and reduce injuries and helps muscles and lungs function at best ability.

Clinical Presentation

Cyclists who complain of: back; upper limb; lower limb; buttock; and neck pain associated with cycling.

Often times the cyclist may have tried to alleviate their symptoms by pressure garments in hopes to relieve areas of pressure (e.g. gel pads in gloves, upright handle bars, gel seat covers). These are often bandaid solutions to an incorrectly fitted bike.
