Jonathan Hook
PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Jonathan received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado in Aurora, CO, and joined the team at Physical Therapy Associates in July of 2008. He currently is an Assistant Professor in the Whitworth University DPT program and serves as the Director of Clinical Education. He enjoys teaching in the Musculoskeletal series as well as several other courses. His research interests include clinical reasoning in clinical practice and the impact of integrating spirituality into health science education. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists after completing a fellowship with Bellin College. Jonathan is active in professional advocacy efforts at both State and Federal levels and has served as the Federal Affairs Liaison for APTA Washington since 2021.
He loves pursuing community engagement opportunities with underserved populations and developing initiatives to include student involvement.

Jonathan enjoys outdoor activities including: hiking, skiing, and running/biking/swimming. In Colorado (while finishing school) he participated as a running coach for the BolderBoulder Running Co. and was a part time ski instructor. He enjoys integrating his recreational interests into his work professionally. He also loves going on adventures with his wife Amy and four young children while documenting them photographically.
