Elevation Fitness Visits Sacred Heart (Thanks to you)

Because of YOU we were able to raise over $1500 from our Elevation Fitness Studio online classes! Today we used the funding to support The Hunt, Spokane and fed 100 individuals who work in the ICU and ER at Sacred Heart Hospital. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for helping us lift the community in these times of need. We are proud of our PTA family.

For those of you who are getting stir-crazy at home, Elevation fitness will be starting multiple live classes 5-days of the week. In the meantime, check out our remote fitness classes and join their facebook live group workouts page below to join in on the fun from home.

And for anyone that is interested in some amazing local food, check out the restaurant we just partnered with for our fundraiser: The Hunt. Not only do they have an amazing to-go order, but their management staff is awesome!

Elevation Fitness Studio and PTA Update

Elevation Fitness Studio update and how our PTA family plans to support and give back to the Spokane community during this time of crisis.

PTA Owner Kelly Risse updates the community on what is going on with Elevation Studios and their campaign to help support local businesses and families in need within the community. For the month of April, Elevation Fitness Studio will be offering live workout videos to the community. We ask that you help us with a donation to our venmo account: @elevation_fitness with an intention to purchase gift cards from local restaurants and give them to families in need. Thank you for your ongoing support!

Physical Therapy Associates has proudly been serving the Spokane area for 42 years. We want to first thank this community for our rich history together and also for the most recent shared efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 and to keep each other safe. We want to inform you of our service in light of Governor Inslee’s announcement last night.

WILL REMAIN OPEN with normal business hours while maintaining the hygiene guidelines provided by the CDC/OSHA/APTA

Physical therapy is listed as an essential business and will continue to serve the needs of our community at this time. According to Dr. Matos, an expert in biologic surety and the management of select agent programs at federal facilities: “Physical therapists are essential in flattening the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic. They play a key role in keeping people they can help out of the doctor offices and ER’s. This will not only free up the medical teams to treat those impacted by COVID-19, but also limit the exposure of those seeking the care of the physical therapist.”

We are excited to OFFER TELEHEALTH VISITS for individuals who would benefit from video consultations

What to expect:

  • Connect with your PT live in a 1:1 treatment session using our online platform (doxy.me)

  • Emailed link that will give you access to this platform

  • Easily accessible via smartphone or computer

  • This online platform is encrypted to protect your privacy and health information

The benefits:

  • Work with your PT from the comfort of your own home

  • Develop a therapy plan specific to the tools and resources available in your home

  • Continue to receive movement analysis and individualized exercise progression

  • Ongoing consultation and patient education to ensure we are assisting you to achieve your goals

If you are interested in this service, please contact our front desk. We are also making efforts for our office or therapists to contact you to discuss if it is a service you would benefit from. Thank you for continuing to adapt to life and for helping us maintain a safe community together!
